​Debra Smith is a contract social worker for Datz but also works as administrative assistant.  In this position she edits home studies and post-placement reports, keeps track of families' supporting documents, and prepares court documents and reports for adoption finalizations.

Debra has a bachelor's in sociology and early childhood education from Rutgers University, a master's in social work from Tulane University, and more than thirty years of experience in the field of adoption and foster care.  She and her husband are the parents of two grown children.
